What to Expect

Free Consultation

During your initial appointment, Dr. Lewis will conduct a free examination and consultation to determine your orthodontic needs and provide the best treatment options. This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions. A financial coordinator will discuss the fee and affordable payment plans that can be customized to meet your needs. By the end of this visit, you will know the recommended course of action, the duration of treatment, and the cost.

Diagnostic Records/Active Treatment

If you choose to begin orthodontic treatment, ensure your teeth are cleaned and cavities filled before starting. We strongly recommend a fluoride treatment to prevent decay. Diagnostic records, including photographs, specific radiographs, and 3D study models, will be necessary before your initial banding. Depending on the treatment, separators may be placed between specific teeth to create space for orthodontic bands. Once records are completed, we usually begin active treatment by placing braces on the teeth during this appointment.
